12,000 Years of a River and Its First Peoples – Lecture presented by Archeologist Ken Knapp, Curator of the Knapp Family Collection housed at the Depauville, NY Library. Enjoy a fascinating and informative lecture on the geological transformation resulting in the formation of the 1000 Island and history of the indigenous peoples who migrated to the area seasonally to harvest eel, fish, game and other foods over centuries. Ken will bring a small sampling of artifacts discovered in the 1000 Islands. We will travel around Grindstone Island, enjoy a sunset, you may bring your own food, and we will have a fully licensed bar onboard.

Concessions Picnic lunches are available for any tour  and may be ordered online with your tour tickets or call us at least one hour before departure and we will prepare your lunch fresh from our on-site concessions “Kay’s Kitchen.”  Come early or plan to stop by after your tour to enjoy our picnic area and made-to-order menu.  All items are available to go and may be taken on-board our boats.  Breakfast also available daily.
