Latest Update on Attractions and Scheduled Tours
Boat Tours are Operating, Boldt Castle is open, and Rock Island Lighthouse has announced the opening of the Keeper’s Cottage (Museum and Gift Shop.)
Some restrictions remain due to Covid-19 – We do require face masks on our grounds and boats, the US and Canadian border remains closed and all boat tours will remain in US waters only until the restriction is lifted. Boldt Castle on Heart Island is now open Thursday through Sunday and we will operate 2 Boldt Castle Tours on those days. Rock Island Lighthouse on Rock Island has been open, however the facilities have been closed. The Keeper’s Cottage will reopen on July 2nd for guests – limited number of people inside at the same time and masks are required. At this time the Lighthouse tower will remain closed.
The Clayton Fireworks display on July 3rd has been cancelled. Instead of the fireworks cruise we will operate Sunset Cruises on July 3rd – 7pm departure for families and 7:30pm departure for over 21. We will have complimentary pizza onboard and the over 21 cruise offers a fully licensed cash bar.
Sunset Cruises Monday – Friday should begin on Monday July 6th at 6:30pm.
At this time we will not be operating the new “Ultimate Sightseeing Tour” and the “Grindstone Island/2 Nation Tour” is currently on hold until we can travel through Canadian waters or the number of vistors to the area increases and we may consider a route change.
